But even though his kind of characters usually go through the "melting", his isn't explained very well. And he's mighty contradicting, first so hard trying to keep Komugi and Oogami apart and now suddenly telling Oogami to get over it and pursue Komugi!

And so far, we don't know why Komugi is confused most of the time and can't blame her. I applaud her cool because the boys surely are giving mixed messages.

And when finally things start to clear, that suspicious teacher comes to mess up things again! What's his deal?? I'm curious.

So, this series isn't trying to invent the wheel again but it's still nice little drama. I like Komugi and the boys.

Awaji was MVP of this volume, I've thought he's too carefree and nosy but here he actually was usually the saviour of the tense situations and for that I liked him a lot here.

Senri, the cat boy, so far has just I like Oogami, he's sweet, but in this volume he was overshadowed by everybody else except Senri.

Nogiri's line is really thin but mostly art looks just fine. Komugi seemed to have the same expression throughout this volume though; yeah, she was confused most of the time but that was something I took notice of as I was reading.

I'm looking forward to the final volume! Apparently this series wraps up in the next volume, which I really like Fushimi? I liked that he and Komugi built a friendship that was based on learning to understand how the other one is.

I don't know if I'd like to see them together, but I'm a little bit eh about the predictable turn since Ogami is obviously the male main here.

Also Yata-sensei is hella creepy. I love him, but he's hella cree Apparently this series wraps up in the next volume, which I love him, but he's hella creepy.

I didn't see the ending coming, though I really do understand his motivation. So I guess we will see how this ends.

Based on some spoiler comments I saw on the final volume when it was released in Japan it looks like things get a bit rushed feeling.

Its honestly been so long since I've read a series that ended before at least volume 5 that I'm curious to see if I still enjoy it as much on a re-read later this year.

I love the art here, but the characters lack serious motivation to make the plot feasible. I see absolutely no reason the two main characters should be "in love" and why the author has to throw in so many meh obstacles to keep the stories going.

I thought going into this that this would be a homage to Fruits Basket that I actually liked because I have pretty concrete reasons to dislike Fruits Basket , but the premise was always a good one , but I was wrong.

I'll read volume 4, because this is an I love the art here, but the characters lack serious motivation to make the plot feasible.

I'll read volume 4, because this is an overall short series, but if you are looking for a cutesy, shoujo-style high school romance, try the mangaka's other manga Love in Focus.

Cliche, again. Nothing with the pacing has been resolved. The plot still flies and lags all over the place. Mentor character has unexpected plot twist character change but also doesn't--poorly done and not compelling in the slightest.

None of the characters have any depth. This was my least favorite volume so far. A lot of the things that happened were pretty boring and felt inconsequential, kind of like filler, which is weird to have in such a short series.

I liked the cliffhanger ending, so maybe the last volume will be better? I hope so. I can not wait to read the last volume.

Thank goodness I waited to read this until I had volume four - this is a surprisingly engrossing little romance! MangaMadnessReadathon April [Round 9].

Today's post is on That Wolf-Boy is Mine! It is pages long and is published by Kodansha Comics. The cover has Aoshi the tanuki on it. As it is the third volume you need to have read the first two volumes to understand the story.

There is no foul language, no sex, and no violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close of the two main characters.

There Be Spoilers Ahead. From the back of the book- Just Friends. After Rin shares profound insights with Komugi about her crush, she learns it's easier to bottle up her feeligns for the wolf-boy, Yu.

As Komugi gets to really know Rin the fox, hos cold exterior slowly melts away- and Yu can't help but be concerned.

In order to let someone new into his heart, Yu struggles to confront his emotional trauma fro the past.

Review- More drama in this volume with Komugi being confronted by the boys teacher who wants her to go away.

She is causing trouble without meaning to and he wants to make things go back to the way they were before. Komugi does have the chance to leave but she wants to stay when she discovers that she and Yu met when they were children.

So the answers to the future are in the past and Yu must deal with his past in order to move forward.

But drama at the end with Komugi losing her memories and what is Yu gong to do now? This volume is all about plot with some character growth.

With one more volume I am curious about how everything is going to end up. I give this volume a Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Oh my Lord, in heaven! And the drama is getting so intense, but not in an uncomfortable way. Sometimes I feel like her two best friends have more of a presence than she does, but I digress.

The comedy, like before was good for a few chuckles in between some really heavy drama. Summary: The main character is a girl named Oogami.

She moves to Hokaiddo from Tokyo because her mom is moving somewhere for work for a year. Oogami is sent to live with her father whom she didn't see for 8 years because of divorce.

In her new school she meets a group of 4 popular boys. She soon befriends one of them named Yuu, who is later revealed to be a half-wolf.

His friends are also animals like raccoon, fox, and cat with two tails. So that us the story. Review: I read the whole series in o Summary: The main character is a girl named Oogami.

Review: I read the whole series in one sitting. It just popped up in my phone after I finished reading another manga on my Mangarock app.

I thought that it was fun to read and I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best thing or the worst. I just wished it had more to give. The series was just too short.

Drawing: I loved the drawing style. Plot: 4 stars Characters: 3. Thanks to the warnings that she received from Yata-sensei, yet I felt so relieved that she was only going back to her mother for a visit.

As well as to recalling a few memories back when she was younger. Though, I just love how Oogami has this strong affection towards Komugi-chan.

After all, I do thin view spoiler [When Komugi went to visit her mother in Tokyo, at first, I thought that she was going to move back and stay away from all the pressure that she was receiving back in Hokkaido, Japan.

After all, I do think that both characters need that kind of support. Since they've been through a lot together. You know, I like view spoiler [Rin as a love interest more than Oogami -- which is often a problem in shoujo manga, that the love interest is the least interesting guy.

At least Komugi is a great heroine! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here.

I find it strange that Komugi is a-ok with the fact that Yu ha been playing this game of back and forth with her emotions.

Sort order. Start your review of Mein wildes Geheimnis Shelves: manga-manhwa. A very good story with nice characters.

The happy ending between wolf-boy and human. It was a truly emotional story that so reminded of my own life. Well, books always have happy endings, reality doesn't.

I will never be able to feel the warmth of her hands again Why did I finish the whole 4 volumes in an hour?

I want more. More Fushimi. Gimme more Fushi. Plot wise, I feel like the mangaka took a short way out of the story. Maybe it didn't get the response they expected from the public, but I felt like this could've have more than just 16 or 18 chapters.

However, the story is cute, fluffy, and the drawings are amazing. If you're looking for your next shoujo, try this babe out! View 1 comment.

Spoilers for the whole series, but also this was so basic and obvious I can't really call them spoilers. It failed on all accounts. There was no growth, development, nor complexity.

The "complexity" we were given was more in the vein of knowledge that had been pointlessly hidden throughout the entire story.

Worldbuilding was horrible. We never Spoilers for the whole series, but also this was so basic and obvious I can't really call them spoilers.

We never fully learn about anything. Why there are spirits, who they are, what they do. It felt like a book that was trying to talk about animal and environmental rights without ever going into it enough to draw you into the characters' problems.

The fact that the Sensei works for the government to fight for environmental rights did nothing for the story other than it was mentioned a few times.

And the whole "reason" why multiple characters hated humans? What the crap? So one person hates humans because he didn't think long enough about the whole situation to actually understand what happened wasn't bad.

The other one did just because his friends told him to? And the whole conflict of the story gets resolved in one sentence by the human who had enough sense to say "Gee, y'all are stupid and have looked at this wrong" for, what, ten years?

And let's not even get started on the romance. Look, it sounds cute and looks cute to claim that another person "saved" or "fixed" you.

It's not. There's nothing romantic about placing all of your hopes, dreams, and entire life into another person who is, guess what, a flawed human being who will make mistakes.

The romance felt so forced and awkward because of how back and forth it went on top that the characters had zero chemistry. This would have been an amazing friendship story, and probably more powerful too than to make it about romantic love.

So, yeah, just don't read it. Go read Fruits Basket instead. View all 3 comments. Overall a cute series, more on the sad side of what I was expecting.

The bittersweet side story with Senri was actually my favorite though it wouldn't have been nearly as meaningful without the main story.

Nice fast read. This was so sweet, although I would have liked to know more about the characters. MangaMadnessReadathon April [Round 9].

The ending was bitter sweet to me. It was sweet because this story ends on a happy note. Instead, it felt like it flat lined between the end of volume 3 to the first page of volume 4.

Everything was to The ending was bitter sweet to me. Everything was too convenient in a way that made it seem unrealistic.

I think my favorite part of this volume is the bonus story at the end. Senri's story at the end was bout the only thing that redeemed this volume for me and is the reason it got three stars instead of two.

Summary: The main character is a girl named Oogami. She moves to Hokaiddo from Tokyo because her mom is moving somewhere for work for a year.

I thought that it was fun to read and I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best thing or the worst. I just wished it had more to give.

The series was just too short. Drawing: I loved the drawing style. Plot: 4 stars Characters: 3. What a lame explanation.

And it's like she only lost her memory for a week and regained it back with no effort whatsoever. This was a nice little series; part fluffy, part melancholy.

There are no big dramatic outbursts, the drama is much more subdued. And while that sort of thing can be entertaining, I liked the mellower tone in this.

It's also complimented by the light line of Nogiri's art, there's airy look to it. So, the final volume has Komugi back in where she started, kind of.

She doesn't remember her time with Oogami and the other boys but something keeps bothering her, she feels everything isn't quite right. And Oogami can't just forget Komugi of course, not when he finally allowed himself to feel.

Nobody is truly happy although Yata-sensei thinks this will be best for everybody. The situation gets solved in a single moment really but I didn't mind, every reader knows what is gonna happen, it's just the matter of time.

The ending was super fluffy and cute. Besides being a love story, there was a bit about learning to accept yourself as you are Oogami and being a bit braver than before Komugi.

Mostly it's just a story how two people find and positively affirm each other though, and it's okay to focus on that.

I gave this volume four stars and I liked the series quite a lot but there were some things that I wish got explored more.

Most importantly, the whole deal with Rin. Who does he actually like? And in what way? In one scene it looks like he wants Oogami and the next it looks like it's Komugi he wants??

Maybe they should've just formed a threesome, lol. Senri got his own extra chapter though, that was really nice.

I would've gladly read a bit more about the characters, all of them. Romantic story that doesn't overstay its welcome but also doesn't dive deep into all of its elements.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. So I rated the other 3 volumes higher than I do this one, because I feel like the ending was rushed.

The story was interesting, made me want to find out about the history of Komugi and Yuu. The Japanese folk-lore was a cool addition.

I grew to like each of the characters as well. But the issue I have is that I feel like there could have been much more to this story.

Or a deeper story line within the folk-lore kingdom. It was a decen Okay. It was a decent ending and at least we got answers to everything.

It just left more to be desired. Cute, fun, light read though. Mentor character has unexpected plot twist character change but also doesn't--poorly done and not compelling in the slightest.

I find it strange that Komugi is a-ok with the fact that Yu ha been playing this game of back and forth with her emotions.

It's not fair to there that he couldn't make up his mind and now suddenly reciprocates her feelings. If I were her, I would at least be a bit disturbed by the fact that I had gone through so much distress over Yu's rejection only to have him offer a physical relation and then finally admit his feelings after all of that unnecessary drama.

There is a plot twist in the 3rd volume. God, I hate sensei so much in this volume. He is just too overprotective. As an adult who lived for such a long time, shouldn't he be able to tell what kusonoki's personality is like?

Why is he so reluctant to make her stay? This is a sweet series. There's no deepness to the story but that's ok - I'm enjoying it.

I'll be reading the fourth volume which is apparently the last one. Just keeps dashing my hopes.

That ending! Jun 27, Jinghay these. Rating- 3. More drama, but I'm still enjoying it. My poor precious Rin. He deserves MORE.

Jun 19, Kajol that. Its a cute short manga.. The artwork is amazing! It was a refreshing read to pull me out of my slump.

A mystery has revealed itself along with a possible puppet master, and now I fear that I can already predict the outcome. Hopefully it will surprise me.

I would really like to see more of Maruyama mountain and learn about the forces which allow certain animals to transform into humans. Entertaining story.

I've curious as to what is going to happen next. Super cute. This ends in the next volume?? Darn, guy lead 2 Fushimi is way better than Ogami, but I've seen enough Asian tv dramas to know how this is going to end.

Another gorgeous volume but that cliff hanger!!! I can't wait till March the only book I'm breaking my book buying ban for!
